i think the book so far is really good. it seems like all of the students have little hope for thier futures and very low self esteem about what they can accomplish. thier whole lives they were being told that they werent good enough so when ms.gruwell actually starts to take an interest in thier lives they all got motivated to not disapoint her and to do the right thing.
